This course is the national course for learning about how to ultrasound the heart as a point of care test.
In light of the COVID pandemic many courses have been canceled. However we have modified the delivery of this course so that it can continue to be delivered.
Candidates watch the lectures in their own time before the course then on the day do the scanning part of the course. The lectures take a half day to watch, and the scanning part of the day takes half a day. After the couse, the candidate has to complete a specific number of scans to be signed off as competent. Courses take place at the Royal Berkshire Hospital.
